Curtis Welcomes President of Chile, Michelle Bachelet, on January 20

 Roberto Díaz, President of Curtis and a native of Chile, introduces the talented young classical musicians of Curtis

MEDIA ADVISORY: President of Chile, Michelle Bachelet, comes to the Curtis Institute of Music, one of only three stops on her Philadelphia itinerary.

WHAT: President of Chile, Michelle Bachelet, comes to the Curtis Institute of Music to meet with Roberto Díaz, a violist of international reputation, president and CEO of the Curtis Institute of Music, and a native of Chile. Accompanied by a delegation of foreign ministers and diplomatic personnel, President Bachelet will observe President Díaz working with the Aizuri Quartet
2014-15 string quartet in residence at Curtis, and will likely offer remarks to the Curtis community.
